Our state-based affiliates in California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas build power, mobilize congregations and engage the Reform Jewish community nationwide in the pursuit of justice. We partner with diverse communities to meaningfully impact local and state legislation.
The Illinois Religious Action Center (RAC-IL) is the collectively organized Reform Jewish community in Illinois that is committed to acting in partnership across lines of faith, race, and economic backgrounds. To date, more than 25 Reform synagogues representing 50,000 Reform Jews are engaged in this effort to build and leverage our power with those who share our values for a more just and compassionate Land of Lincoln for all.
As a project of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, RAC-NJ seeks to ensure that New Jersey’s Reform Jews are heard and heeded as Jews in Trenton, and that our communities’ Jewish values, including pikuach nefesh (saving lives), chesed (compassion), and tzedek (justice), are included in policy making as our state leaders work to build a more just and compassionate society for all New Jersey residents.
A project of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, RAC-PA is a locally-led movement of Reform Jewish communities working together to build a more just and merciful Pennsylvania.
